The Destin Harbor Boardwalk connects visitors with much of the activity along the waterfront.

🌅 Evening: Seafood and a Destin Sunset
Keep your second evening relaxed.

If you came to Florida primarily for the beach, there’s nothing wrong with spending your last morning right back on the sand.

Wake up early, grab coffee and breakfast, and enjoy the Gulf before the day gets busier.
You could return to Henderson Beach State Park if reservations are available or choose another public beach access in the Destin area.
A quiet morning beach walk is a very different experience from a busy afternoon at the beach and is worth fitting into your trip.
🐢 Option 2: Visit Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park
Families may prefer to spend the morning at Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park on nearby Okaloosa Island.
The longtime marine attraction includes marine-life exhibits, animal presentations, educational programs, and optional animal encounters.
It’s particularly useful on a three-day itinerary because it provides something different from another full beach day while keeping the trip connected to the Gulf Coast’s marine environment.
Check current admission prices, presentations, encounter availability, and hours directly with Gulfarium before visiting.
🛍️ Option 3: Shopping and a Slower Morning
If everyone is ready for a break from sand and saltwater, use the morning for shopping.
